Student Life

Campus Recreation operates the Fitness Center and the campus Game Room. Our Fitness Center has treadmills, an eliptical, free weights, lockers, etc. The Game Room has a television, pool tables, ping pong and sports equipment for check out. NSCC hosts the Seattle Community Colleges Men's and Women's STORM basketball teams. Student athletes from South, North, and Seattle Central Community Colleges are eligible to participate. The mission of Intercollegiate Athletics is to offer students competitive sports programs that develop skills, abilities, leadership, teamwork, competitiveness and discipline. Men's and Women's Intercollegiate Basketball compete in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC).
