Advice to new students

Welcome to your new school. You know absolutely no one and you have no idea where your classes are or who your teacher is and I'm sure you just spent 2 hours or more making yourself look good before getting here but I've got some friendly advice…don't freak out. Unlike me, you don't just roll out of bed looking attractive nor have a natural leadership ability, so let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm Jonathan and if you see me on campus…holla at ya boy!

Advice to new students

I have had great and wonderful experience with South Seattle Community College, from instructors, employees, and fellow students. They are very supportive and are always there to answer my questions. In addition, they treat you with respect no matter what color, race, and religion you are. They make sure that you have room for yourself and like your home too. These are the things that I am going to share with the newly enrolled students at South Seattle Community College. Lastly, I would personally ask the students what their best interest is in life. If a student answered that they aspire to become a nurse I would encourage them to start their nursing course with South Seattle. I will tell them that South Seattle will bring them the highest step of the ladder in the profession that they are interested in, from CNA, to LPN, RN, and to BSN. Taking that first step to enroll in the nursing class at South Seattle Community College is the best decision a person can make for himself or herself.
